Religious School

In my summer column, I told you about our new Chai (life) curriculum for Sunday Jewish studies and Mitkadem (“move yourself forward”) curriculum for Wednesday Hebrew classes, both purchased from the Union from Reform Judaism (U.R.J.). At that time, I had no idea who would present this program to the students. Now I do, and I’m very pleased to introduce these enthusiastic and committed teachers and assistants to you:

Wednesday Teen Classes, 6:30–7:30 p.m.

As always, Rabbi Dan and Rabbi Laura advise and consult on many aspects of Religious School functioning, and they will help to guide and enliven the religious services on Sundays from 11:30–11:55 a.m.
We still need congregational volunteers for regular classes and special events, and we will use parent helpers in some of the larger classes on a daily basis. If you’ve thought about participating but haven’t been in contact yet, please call or email me. There’s room for you, and it’s bound to be lively and fun!
