Children and Youth Services The
children and youth service on a Shabbat morning is aimed at primarily older
Elementary students (3rd Grade upwards) through Junior High School.
It takes place once a month beginning at
The
service is scheduled once a month except for months where every Shabbat is
booked with a Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration.
On those Shabbat mornings it is our preference that
the children and youth attend the main service to support the B’nai Mitzvah
students.
Services for this age group consists of T’fila (prayer) a discussion of the
weeks Parsha and a game.
There is a sponsored Kiddush by the families of the
participants. Families take turns to provide the Kiddush, generally comprised of
fruit, cookies and a drink.
